IF YOU ARE WONDERING WHAT TO DO HERE IN THE SUMMER …

IN LOCO

With its woods and meadows, Pampeago is the ideal place for those seeking relax and the beauty of the mountains during summer. A few steps away from Sport Hotel Pampeago there are various paths and themed routes that branch off into the mountains of the Latemar group.

Visit RespirArt. It’s one of the most “high altitude” art parks in the world, located at Alpe di Pampeago offers an itinerary that varies between 2,000 and 2,200 meters above sea level.
There are several art installations created by a lot of international artists, which integrate perfectly with the peaks of Latemar. In addition to this, the park offers during summer a variety of literary events and concerts.

The visit to the Latemarium theme park in Obereggen, another project in the Latemar group, includes four “special” routes, to say the least.
You will be surrounded by the most suggestive atmospheres capable of giving emotions and unforgettable moments. [more information here].

IN THE VALLEY

A visit to the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Nature Park is a must. The park is characterized by a wide variety of natural environments: fir forests, broadleaf forests, rock faces, alpine pastures, streams, alpine lakes, glaciers and peat bogs.
The Visitor Centre of the Paneveggio Park, located along the state road that goes from Predazzo up to Rolle Pass, gives you the opportunity to enter the large spruce forest known as the Violins Forest, because of the quality of its spruces used by luthiers.
In the park it’s possible to observe the animals of the wood, in particular the wood grouse and the deer (some ungulates are in a large fenced area near the entrance of the Centre).
In addition to this, a nature trail with guided observation points leaves from the visitor center. [more information here].

A hike in the Monte Corno Nature Park is definitely worthwhile.

It extends from the S. Lugano Pass and covers part of Valle di Cembra, Val d’Adige and marks in the south the provincial border between South Tyrol and Trentino.

Of all the nature parks in South Tyrol, Monte Corno has the richest flora and fauna in species, as it covers very different climate zones. [more information here].

Throughout summer, the entertainment team of Sport Hotel Pampeago arranges, on request, excursions to Latemar, as well as workshops and games for children at the Mini Club..
